I've been using this stuff for years for energy, muscle building, and weight loss (40 pounds in 2 months) at the gym but ran out. I only take 1/4 of a tablet so 1 bottle lasts me 4 years. It used to carry a warning about large dosage for people under the age of 50 but I don't see it anymore. There is a lot of testosterone in this stuff so be careful, I'm 30 now but 1/2 a pill still makes my prostate swell up like a grapefruit even with an extremely heavy workout on a 5 mile day. It's at least 100 times stronger than those test boosters they will sell you for hundreds of dollars. So if you are are older, with low test, taking a full pill each day, these should fix you up real quick. Yes, you will wake up every night as hard as a rock, at least that's what it does to us younger folks anyway. I like their choice of wording "Promotes Healthy Mood... & Vitality" I'd sure say they got that right. Also when I was in my 20's taking a fourth pill every single day made me want to fight, so I had to break on the weekends but that has gone away now. You should get an estrogen blocker like Chrysin so that when this stuff breaks down you won't turn into a woman. Nope, you wouldn't know any of this by reading the bottle, but google it or check out the wikipedia entry, it is all there. The more ya know...

Definitely has increased energy, but after first week of use I decreased dose to 1/4 a day as I had adverse side effects. I read up on this supplement and I concluded I should not take more than 1/4 a day. It should be cycled as well. I take it 4 days a week and will skip a week here and there. I believe this will effect each individuals hormones differently so monitor the effects to your body carefully.

I read "The Metabolic Plan" and started to get into taking some supplements that were recommended to slow down the aging process. Once a man turns 30, his DHEA production slows down, and gradually winds up extremely low. This is one of the reasons why we lose muscle tone and vitality as we age.
I take this once in the evening before bed, along with 7 Keto in the morning. Noticeable change for the good in libido. No hair loss or mood swings.
I like the results.

Used DHEA for years; now I'll try this combinationJun 13, 2011

Okay, I'm Seattle Sam's wife Seattle Sue... ; )
I began using DHEA, on the recommendation of some overseas correspondents, to combat the 'chipmunk face' of chronic corticosteroid use (for Addison's disease). To my delight and surprise, it worked! Sam began taking it (we're 66) and he says he eats and sleeps better with it, and feels better. I've come now to re-order more DHEA and discover this Schiff combination with resveratrol. Resveratrol has, at least, some promising research behind it - though nothing solid in human research, much less clinical trials, except anecdotal. Which is fine with me; lots of very useful pharmaceuticals began life as anecdotes.
In sum, I know these doses of DHEA have an effect but I have yet to see how combining DHEA and resveratrol at these doses affects me. I'll come back in three months and let you know.

I recommend this product because it combines DHEA and Resveratrol in one easy to take tablet. Now if they would only make a one a day that was smaller.
